I created the blog in attempt to stay close to friends, family, and colleagues while on the road. But also hope to inspire others to take a simpler approach to life, visit our beautiful National Parks, hike, backpack, bike, kayak, RV, connect with nature and enjoy the great outdoors.
Ursula
I’m just trying to find myself while lost in the woods following 70 degree weather. 😉
I sold my house, my car, 95% of my belongings and downsized from 2500 sq ft sticks and bricks home to 150 square feet on wheels!
I enjoy reading, coloring, arts and crafts, cooking, baking, decorating, politics, current events, swimming, visiting new places and experiencing new things. I’m an introvert by nature and enjoy solo travel.
I hope to reduce stress levels, lower my blood pressure, improve my posture, rid myself of back pain and lose a little bit of weight. We’ll see how that last one goes as I absolutely love to cook. At least now I don’t have a real oven, so no more baking for a while. Just on the road RV or outside cooking.
Birdie
I now live and travel in a 24 ft Class C motor-home. See RV Life for more details and pictures of the rig. I purchased her at 10 yrs old/33,000 miles from a widow after her husband passed.
They took immaculate care of her. Thus far I’ve been all over the US, from New Orleans, to Texas Coast and Hill Country, to Utah, New Mexico, Colorado, Arizona, Wyoming and Montana. Until now I’ve been limited by the amount of time I could take off work, and therefore wasn’t able to take longer distance trips. But I’m on my way now!!!
Aesop Valente
I’m accompanied by my lovely 8 yr old dog, Aesop Valente Clark. He’s a protective type, attached to me at the hip. He’s definitely a trooper when when it comes to outside actives, mainly hiking.
He’s a very good looking boy, who doesn’t like conflict but is ready to face anything if you mess with his momma. He is a lone-wolf and is all around cool guy.
